Asunción, Agencia IP.- Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay Estefanía Laterza de los Ríos presented her credentials to United States President Donald J. Trump, officially accrediting her as Head of Mission to the U.S. Government.
During the meeting, the diplomat stressed the importance of deepening bilateral relations and promoting new opportunities for cooperation between Paraguay and the United States. She also conveyed greetings from President of the Republic Santiago Peña and the Paraguayan people.
President Trump, for his part, extended his best wishes to Laterza de los Ríos as she begins her duties and expressed his willingness to continue strengthening relations between the two countries and working together in areas of common interest.
