Asunción, Agencia IP.- The Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) launched the Second Edition of Paraguay Business Week, which will take place from June 3 to 5 at the Paraguayan Olympic Committee (COP) and from November 11 to 13 in Ciudad del Este. The event aims to position Paraguay as a regional hub by promoting international investment and business.
The first event will be held as part of the presentation of the Paraguay Business Fair (FEPY) 2026, an event organized by the Paraguayan Industrial Union (UIP).
The main edition will take place in Ciudad del Este, coinciding with the 17th Expo Paraguay Brazil, one of the leading business networking events between the two countries.
Both events include business matchmaking sessions, project presentations seeking financing, and strategic meetings with international stakeholders, all designed to boost the economy and expand opportunities for the national productive sector.
Positive results from the first edition
The Vice Minister of Industry, Javier Viveros, presented the results of the 2025 edition of Paraguay Business Week and Expo Paraguay Brasil, which generated more than 2,800 meetings among nearly 1,000 companies from 10 countries, totaling business intentions exceeding USD 421 million.
Likewise, the president of the Paraguayan Industrial Union (UIP), Enrique Duarte, highlighted coordination with the Government and praised such initiatives that promote national industry, trade, and job creation.
