Migramóvil starts in Villarrica and continues in Coronel Oviedo, San Alberto, and Cedrales

Asunción, Agencia IP.- Continuing with this year’s planned schedule, the Migramóvil mobile unit is providing services at the Guairá Governor’s Office today, Monday, and Tuesday, operating on a reduced schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The purpose of this service is to receive applications for residency and other immigration documents required by foreign citizens in the area.

The mobile team from the National Directorate of Migration will then travel to the city of Coronel Oviedo, where it will be available on Thursday, April 9, and Friday, April 10, at the Caaguazú Governor’s Office, during the same hours.

Two more sessions are planned for this April, in the cities of San Alberto on April 20 and 21, and Cedrales on April 23 and 24, in the department of Alto Paraná.

The documents that can be requested at these sessions include temporary residency, extension of temporary residency, and permanent residency; as well as replacement of temporary and permanent residency cards, renewal of permanent residency cards, and certificates of residence, among others.

The requirements and fees for these procedures are detailed on the institution’s official website.

Migramóvil is a program of the National Directorate of Migration that brings documentation services closer to foreign migrants throughout the country, especially in locations with limited access to the institution’s Admissions Offices.

Its main objective is to expand, decentralize, and streamline services to ensure an efficient, accessible process for the regularization of foreigners in Paraguay and the documentation of new migrants.
